| Giving Thanks...Jos. T. Samuels, Inc., Realtors Joins The Campaign |
Jos. T. Samuels, Inc., Realtors, a trusted and family-owned real estate firm that has served the people and the land of Central Virginia since 1913, has joined the Campaign to Build the Greenest School in America. The news came out of a recent luncheon meeting Bobbi Llewellyn and Marianne Lund had with Owie Samuels. After hearing about the project and reviewing background materials, Owie has pledged the company's support for the campaign in the following manner; Jos. T. Samuels, Inc., Realtors will donate to the campaign a portion of its proceeds from any listing or sale from Waldorf School parents, staff, Boards or friends who mention that they are referred by Charlottesville Waldorf School. "Our family's roots in this area and our agrarian culture date back more than two centuries," Owie said. "Joe Samuels great, great, great grandfather was an Orange County farmer who fought with the patriots in the Revolutionary War. Every generation that followed has included ancestors whose life was inextricably linked with the land. The Campaign to Build the Greenest School in America is a vitally important effort to protect this land and the environment for future generations. We are delighted to join the Charlottesville Waldorf Foundation in this exciting and important project. Your effort shines a spotlight on one of the most important issues of our time." We are honored and delighted that Jos. T. Samuels, Inc. and Joe and Owie Samuels have come on board with us and greatly appreciate the extraordinary commitment they have made toward making The Greenest School in America a reality. Their involvement is another example of innovative ways in which individuals and corporations can be a part of our effort. |
